There are SO many more movies I can add to this list!
I love watching movies, especially my favorites.
I've known some people, who don't like to watch the same movie twice,
which is fine for them, but if I know a movie is going to make me happy then why wouldn't I watch it again?

Day 29

Day 29 - favorite tv shows and why you like them

Photo provided by http://housemd6.com

This show is my all time favorite.  I've watched every episode more times than I can count.
I love this show because of it's quirks and because of the mother-daughter relationship.
I also love this show because it's something that my sisters and I have in common and because I'll get a random GG's quote from Corinne and I'll know instantly what she's talking about.  I also love that it'll brighten any bad day that I'm having.

Beautiful people, intense episodes, and a good plot.
All reasons why this is my #1 actually-currently-running-on-TV show.
Another reason why I love it is because my whole family loves it and because I got my boyfriend to watch it!

Ah! I'm so upset that we don't have cable and I missed the Season 5 premiere of "Army Wives" tonight.
This show makes me cry almost every episode and I can relate to a lot in it.
I also love the idea of having a solid support system of friends and family around you, especially when you're dealing with something like the military.

Last but not least, there's Smallville.
At first I started watching this show on DVD because my grandparents were into it.
After I introduced it to my family, my sister Candace got obsessed and now we're all Clark Kent fans.
I haven't been able to keep up with the current and last season because of work, but I can't wait to watch it on DVD!

Day 27

Day 27- my day job verses my passion

 Photo provided by www.lafitness.com

Currently I work at LA Fitness Sports Clubs as a receptionist/bill collector a.k.a a hustler...just kidding...sort of.
On a normal work day I sit at a empty desk (if there is one) and I make about at least a hundred phone calls on average to members whose electronic form of payment or EFT has decline in our system for whatever reason.  I "clear" them up.  This really is not a fun job.  Yes, I make 5 extra dollars for every clear up I get, which is very nice on payday, providing I do well.  But honestly it's basically the luck of the draw on who you call and if they'll clear up with you.  I get yelled at, hung up on, and cussed out on a very regular basis.  Some days when I get a member on the phone who is nice and willing to let me update their accounts, it makes me want to cry.  On Sundays, I get to actually work the front desk, check members in, and have some personal interaction with the people that come to my gym all the time and I love that!  I'm very thankful to actually have a job right now, with the state of our world being as it is, but I really wish sometimes that I could just quit.

My passion is writing and journalism.
I've always been a writer and decided to pursue journalism as a career when I was a senior in high school.  I think the point that I really became passionate about journalism was when I started working on The Gavilan Press at my old community college.  I worked my way up to Editor In Chief and absolutely loved every minute of it...even the super late nights finishing that dang layout.  I honestly can't wait to graduate so I can start my career.  I hope it's as exciting sometimes as I imagine it will be.

My other passion is to be an amazing mother and wife.
(Yes, that's me on the left.)

I really can't wait to get married sometimes and I think about becoming a mother and it makes me super happy.  Hopefully someday soon I can fulfill these passions too.

Day 24

Day 24- post your favorite quote or verse of scripture and why

"Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12

Really old picture. She's not mine.

This is my favorite verse, just because I'm always trying to be a good example and it's complete encouragement to my heart.

Day 22 and 23

Day 22- what makes you different from everyone else
I have very naturally curly hair that I wasn't born with (go figure)...
I'm a Christ follower...
I'm mostly a one-drink girl...
(I prefer a beer, over any other drink)...
I'd rather be in bed by 11, than stay up past midnight...
I have no curiosity or desire to try any sort of drugs...

day 23- something you crave a lot

Day 20

Day 20- write a letter to someone

I can't believe that 30 days have almost gone by!

 Photo provided by flickr.com

Dear Mass Media Law or Journ 430,

I'm sorry that I failed your quiz today by getting a 1/4.  I promise that I read my chapters, but I've never been one for doing good on tests, let alone pop quizzes.  There's just something about you that confuses me and makes me feel....well...dumb.  You have a ton of different words, mostly in Latin, and way too many different cases and names to keep straight.  Unfortunately, you're the biggest class that's standing in the way of me and my graduation.  I promise to start studying harder, if you start making a little more sense to me.
Love your diligent super senior,

Amanda

You can read a few other little letters that I've written here and here.

Day 19

Day 19- write about a sweet memory from your past

I think one of my sweetest memories from my past is the day that my dad brought home my dog, Molly.
I had literally been asking and praying for a dog, with specific requirements that had to be met, for months.
The day my dad brought her home she was just a tiny puppy.  My sisters and I were taking a nap together and we woke up when they put her on the bed and she started sniffing around.  I honestly can't tell you how happy I was!  I finally had my dog I had been waiting for.  For the next ten years or so, she always slept at the foot of my bed and is literally like my baby. I miss her a lot when I'm away at school and it's always fun to go home and see her get so excited when she realizes that I'm back.

My baby.

Day 18

Day 18- plans/dreams/goals you have

Photo provided by rvtravel.com

I'm planning on graduating this coming May on the 26th.  I'm dreaming that my goal of working for a newspaper or news station will come true shorty after that.

I dream all the time about getting married and becoming a mom.  That's always been my ultimate goal and I think it's because I have such a good inspirations in my life.

Another dream I have is moving out of California and living in North Carolina.
When I'm living there my goal is to own another horse at some point and rekindle my love for riding.

I also dream about writing a best selling book.

That's all that came to mind right now! Hope you guys had an amazing weekend!

I would love to be Christiane Amanpour for a day. I'd want to cover an amazing story and be one of the best journalists there is.  She's definitely a role model in my career life.

Day 16- a picture of yourself

Most recent picture I've got. I was super tired.

And a nicer one that I actually like.
